Please follow the following to ensure your visit is a pleasant one.
2.1 Signature Guidelines:
These guidelines will greatly speed up the loading time on boards you visit if followed. Nutzboard mods and Admins will edit any post breaking these rules/guidelines:
Moderators may give 3 warnings, after which a user ban may be enforced due to non compliance
- Only use a graphic signature once on each thread.
- Make sure your graphics signatures are less than 20kb. The smaller the file size the quicker the image loads.
Reducing width and height tags using HTML does NOT reduce the size of the image physically.
- Use text instead of a coloured banner/image.
- If you accidently post the sig more than once, Please edit it out.
- Ensure your graphics are the smallest size they can be (ie: gif format, compressed quality, etc)
- Try to make sure your custom photos aren't HUGE images.
Please Note: Some forums have personal photos and or custom signatures disabled.
* Remember, using html to make your sig can be fun with the help of NutzBoard!
2.2 Do not spam!
NO blatant advertising. In either Cool Web Sites and Just Passing By forums, you may leave a link to a site you feel may benefit other users.
If you are trying to sell a product or service then the post will be classed as advertising and removed.
2.3 Do not flame!
Nutzboard is a means for people to express different opinions and ideas. Never insult anybody because they do not agree with your point of view.
This is one way for you to lose all credibility for your business and your personal reputation.
2.4 Treat others with respect!
Always give others on Nutzboard the same treatment and respect you would want them to give you.
Always respect the other person's age, sex, race etc.
No matter how much or how little someone knows, they still deserve the same respect as others. Always remember, you started out not knowing much either.
However, it is very difficult to respect a flamer, spammer etc.
2.5 Have fun and meet new people from all over the globe!
You will "meet" so many wonderful people on the Nutzboard and the Internet! It is a great way to build personal and business relationships. So welcome to Nutzboard, start a conversation and just have some fun.
2.6 BEWARE!!!!
It is FORBIDDEN that you post any links to illegal or pornographic activities, or boards discussing such activities. This includes, but is no limited to: warez, hacking sites or instructions, etc... This is cause for immediate bannishment without warning.
2.7 Bad language
Please keep your language respectful. Disagreements happen, but as adults (mostly...) we should be able to discuss our differences without resorting to foul language or insulting the other person. If you cannot control yourself, you will be asked to leave.
The profanity filter is enabled but some words MAY slip through!
2.8 Additional
NO re-directs of any kind used in any posts/topics, NO using style sheets to change this board look or design, do NOT add music of any kind to a post, please leave a link to the music file (any copyrighted material links will be edited.)
